Blair County Reports Voting Machine Problems (PA)
WJAC-TV News 07 November 2007
Overshadowing the election results in Blair County was a voting machine problem that made it difficult to count votes, officials said.
Wednesday's Bedford Gazette reported the problem with scanners used to record votes. Election officials said the machines were programmed with an incorrect code that caused the machines to stop accepting votes.
Officials had to call the voting machine company in Texas, get a new code, then travel to all 33 county precincts and manually reprogram the machines.
