Super Tuesday brings big turnout in Davis County (UT)
Deseret Morning News 05 February 2008
Davis County polling stations were reported very busy Tuesday morning, but the expected wait for voters on "Super Tuesday" was estimated to be about 10 minutes.
There were no problems with the electronic voting machines themselves, but Davis County elections director Pat Beckstead said there were some glitches with a new electronic check-in system.
The laptops were running slow on that check-in system, and some electronic readers weren't working well.
"We have a backup plan," she said.
