Ohio, Ukraine more similar than you think

I am happy to give my thoughts on the idea that there is no difference in what is going on here in U.S. (specifically Ohio, of which I am a resident) and the Ukraine.

You took the words right out of my mouth when you said a revote is what needs done ... not necessarily a recount. It is rather interesting that George W. Bush and Colin Powell are supporting honesty in the Ukraine - however, it is OK that it is a mess here.

Since the election, I have been involved (for the first time in my life, I may say) in listening and seeking out information about things that went on in Ohio that are definite problems - from the machines counting and not counting to counting backwards instead of forward to the voting for Kerry and having it show up for Bush.

This is a big one ... seems that a good bit of this has gone on.

I said immediately after the election ... this is not even about a particular candidate at this point, it is about honesty, integrity and democracy ... the true voice of the people.

There are a lot of people who can recognize hanky panky when they see it ... it is only those who choose to be blind who aren't recognizing the issues at hand.

My God, what is wrong with the people of the United States ... and I'm not saying it is only happening in the U.S. I am just voicing my feelings about how passive we appear to be. Are we in the streets like the Ukrainian people are?

May the Universal Creator be close at hand. May people finally get that war, killing and the judgment of others' ways and beliefs is not what life is about. If the world was meant to be the same, it would have been made the same. However, it wasn't, and it truly is about differences.

When will this truly be felt in the hearts of people? Some would say that so much of what goes on in the world is more because of a certain few in power who pull the strings versus the people. I tend to agree.

Thanks for the opportunity to vent. More people need to do so.
