FAIRFAX, Ohio Some voters in Fairfax were not able to cast ballots Tuesday in one of their local elections.

Officials said those 124 voters found the Columbia Township trustee race omitted from their ballots, and elections officials met to discuss how the vote should proceed.

The board of elections decided to count only the ballots already cast in other areas instead of voting again to include the Fairfax residents.

Officials did not offer additional explanation about their decision.
