Bruce,
I went to vote at 8:15am at the Methodist Church on Hogan, my precinct.
The ivotronic DID NOT print my vote out, it only printed a horizontal
line and a vertical line. I told the poll worker the machine did not
print my vote, he would not allow me to vote again even though that
machine is apparently malfunctioning. He closed the doors on the
machine, allowed another man to vote on the same machine to see if it
registered his vote on the paper tape, it did not, then he sent the man
to another machine.
The poll worker gave me a cell phone number for you, a woman named
Denise Granger phoned me back stating that was her cell phone number
and she had been receiving numerous calls for the Democratic party -
people were having problems voting. I advised her to give them my
number, I will forward all complaints to you.
I've registered a complaint with Rob Hammons at the Sec. of State's
office and the State Board of Election Commissioners. I am officially
filing a formal complaint with the Faulkner County Election Commission.
Please contact me asap regarding this issue.
Also, there were no vote here signs on the street for voters to easily
identify the polling place.
